Nipah Virus

Nipah Virus

Again,... my only faith gift to the world community is to provide a way to communicate the name of this virus for even the poorest of the world with Bible syllables, especially for languages that have other types of fonts, syllabaries and/or scripts. There are other ways, of course, of finding (or coining) a suitable name for use in other languages.

Ni - pah

The NI (short i) syllable is found in various Bible names (or place names) and will therefore most likely be transliterated into each language:

NI-ca-nor - Acts 6:5
NI-co-de-mus - John 3:1,4,9; John 7:50; John 19:39

The PA(h) possible syllables are found in various Bible names. Care must be taken, if a language distinguishes between pa and pah (likely with an aspiration - a puff of air).

OT:
Or-PAH - Ruth 1:4,14

Miz-PAH - Genesis 31:49

Riz-PAH - 2 Samuel 3:7; 21;8,10,11

NT:
PA-ta-ra - Acts 21:1

PA-phos - Acts 13:6
PA-tro-bas Romans 16:14

Understandable Syllable Examples:

Ni-pah or Ni-pa - English and for many Roman script languages
νι - πα- Greek
Ни - па - Russian
Ni-ba - Vietnamese (all references give ba, not pa or pah)

As always, a final check should be made with knowledgeable speakers of the language as needed.

The Bible syllables of VI-RUS are in the book:
HEALTH WORDS IN THE WORD.

***************************************************************
Apparently there is a closely related virus called:
Hendrah virus.

To find the syllables, you'd have to add unaccented e's, if a language does not have consonant blends.

Example:
Japanese: HEN-De-RA
Japanese allows the -n to be joined to HE for the syllable HEN.

For languages that can't have the C-V-C form:
It would be:
HE-Ne-De-RA
***************************************************************
Let us pray re: this type of virus that can be found in many animal hosts and in people.
